Why groundwater assessments?

Groundwater is a vital resource and the quality must be maintained for human and ecological health. When there are leaking underground petrol storage systems (UPSS), landfill leachate, chemical spills or contaminated soils, groundwater contamination can occur, compromising the safety of the water. The chemicals can migrate into surface water or into bores used for drinking, irrigation, stock and industry, posing problems for your site and surrounding sites.

At Ultra Environmental, we offer a range of hydrogeological services:

  • Preliminary Site Investigations (PSI) to assess groundwater quality
  • Installation of groundwater monitoring wells, collection of water samples and analysis for chemical contaminants (Detailed Site Investigations – DSI)
